DIRK BONSMA - ALBERT HOFMANN

Im Jahr 1943 entdeckte der Schweizer Chemiker Albert Hofmann die halluzinogene Wirkung des LSD. Anlässlich seines 100. Geburtstags entwarf Dirk ein aus 961 Blättchen bestehender Bogen und in Basel fand vom 13. bis 15. Januar 2006 das Symposium LSD - Sorgenkind und Wunderdroge statt. Albert Hofmann starb am 29. April 2008 im Alter von 102 Jahren an den Folgen eines Herzinfarkts.

In 1943, the Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann discovered the hallucinogenic effects of LSD. On the occasion of his 100th Birthday Dirk designed a sheet of 961 leaflets and in the town of Basel a symosium took place from 13 to 15 January 2006 with the title 'LSD - Problem Child and Wonder Drug'. Albert Hofmann died on april 29 in 2008 at the age of 102 to a heart attack.
